Scott and I were two of the lucky 500 people that got to experience the greatness, that is Scars on Broadway!

The venue is really small. There is no backstage area so the band hung out on the balcony on the left side of the venue - hidden behind thin curtains. We could see Daron's, John's, Franky's, Dominic's, Danny's, and Greg Watermann's silhouettes.

Everyone in the venue was chanting "S-O-B", "Daron", "Franky" etc, and they would open the curtains and wave at the crowd.

Right before the show was about to start, Jessica Miller was escorted to the other side of the venue. She had to walk across the stage to get there and people started chanting her name; she looked a little embarrassed but she was smiling.

The show started at around 9:30pm - John was the first to step out. then Dominic, Danny, Franky...moments later Daron emerges on the stage. The crowd goes WILD! Duh.

- The band started playing "Serious" but Franky's guitar wasn't in the mood. He and the techs were trying to figure out what was wrong while the band continued giving us an instrumental version of "Serious".

- Stoner Hate - Daron had the crowd sing the "Ohhh Ohhh" part.

- Yemoo* - Instrumental We recorded this song (on video) but the sound quality is buried under pure bass.

- Daron dedicated the the song, "Forever My Queen", by the band Pentagram, to his girlfriend, Jessica.

- "Talkin' Shit" - pretty damn great song! I am so happy I got to hear it live.
I hope it's on the new album ;)

Shavo is introduced by Daron and he puts on his bass and joins them for "Cute Machines" and "They Say"
AWESOME!!

Shavo was using one of Daron's signature guitar picks. He had one in his mouth and spit it out. We managed to grab that one from the stage - saliva and all.

Daron jumped right into the crowd! GREAT MOMENT!

John tossed a bunch of drum sticks in the crowd. We also managed to snag one.

The rest of the band threw some guitar picks and bottles of water to the crowd.

John, Franky, Dominic, and Danny were all signing autographs after the show. They were mingling with the crowd. Daron didn't come downstairs from the balcony because he was "with family".

People were asking Franky if Scars is back - he just replied with "We never left". He kept saying "We'll see".

Shavo was signing autographs and taking photos with fans outside. He was on a party bus along with his girlfriend Sonia, Dominic, Danny, and Daron (who came out later) and the rest of their entourage.

Shavo was blasting music on the party bus.

He was smoking a controlled substance* while he was chatting with fans : p

Shavo also played a brand new Achozen song (on the stereo) on the bus (with the door open). It sounded pretty good. The security guards from the Troubadour were getting all into it.

Daron finally came out and signed autographs and took a couple of pictures. He was asked about touring and he just smiled - a BIG smile. He wasn't talking with words but his facial expressions said a lot!

Overall, the concert was an unforgettable event! Everyone who was packed into the Troubadour was happy from the beginning to the end! Daron, John, Franky, Dominic, and Danny seemed happy and pumped throughout the show. Pure positive energy all around!! Daron obviously seemed to be in a happy place. He didn't look like a man that didn't want to play his music and take it on the road.
